Schafter

A luxury four-door sedan, seen twice across two different trailers two years apart — first driving through the city, later in a car-chase scene and again at a closing car meet.

GTA 6 has not launched. This page separates what Rockstar has actually shown from what has been identified by press coverage of that footage — see “Where this name comes from” below.

Schafter quick facts: class, name status and source.
Class Luxury sedan
Name status Identified by press, not shown on-screen
First shown Trailer 1 (Dec 4, 2023) and Trailer 3, "An Extended Look" (Aug 27, 2026)

Source: Trailer 1 (Dec 4, 2023) and Trailer 3, "An Extended Look" (Aug 27, 2026).

What Rockstar has shown

A dark four-door sedan with a grille and headlight shape outlets matched to the Schafter body style drives through the city in Trailer 1. A newer-bodied version reappears in Trailer 3, used first in a police-chase scene and again in a closing car-meet montage.

Where this name comes from

Two separate sightings, two years apart, both identified by outlets covering the trailers rather than by an on-screen name — the franchise has used the Schafter name for its returning luxury-sedan line since GTA V.
